This is a double sea kayak, so you can take your wife/partner/friend/family member and don't have to transport two boats; also it is almost the same price as a single.
It does not have to be used in the sea, can be used in flat water, rivers, and lakes almost anywhere.
The kayak has a rudder and peddles at the feet where the rudder is controlled by the person sitting in the back, the front person also has foot rests; it has two hatches for placing things like sleeping bags, tents, and food in to keep dry - for that very important sea trip. Each hatch is about 110cm long, 50cm at it's widest and then going narrower to the end. The hatch whole is 20cm wide and the hatch lid is 28cm wide.
The boat handles is heavier and so handles 'slower' than a single if you paddle it alone. But if two people paddle it, it is faster than a single! The advantage with this boat is that a weaker paddler can go with a stronger paddler - without anyone getting left behind or anyone having to wait for anyone else.
If you are very close to where we are (Milton Keynes/Bicester/Aylesbury) area delivery will be free. We'll will try and make delivery to you as cheap as possible, so will try and deliver for free, but if you are too far from us please email for a delivery quote.
